Éditions Max Eschig was founded in 1907 in Paris by Max Eschig. The range of the Max Eschig catalogue is very broad and includes much French music: Satie, Koechlin,Tournemire, Ravel, Milhaud, as well as many works by Honegger, Poulenc, and others. Max Eschig is the principal publisher of Heitor Villa-Lobos, famous in particular for his guitar works. Other composers include Albéniz, Szymanowski, Marcel Mihalovici, Bohuslav Martinú ,Alexandre Tcherepnine, and Tibor Harsányi.
